Supporting Women's Engagement
at Temple El Emeth
El Emeth Sisterhood is an organization of women who support and enhance the spiritual, educational and social life of our Congregation. Sisterhood members can be found baking in the Temple kitchen, leading religious services and serving on our Board of Directors in various leadership capacities.
We sponsor and encourage youth programming and participate in community activities whenever possible. Sisterhood holds monthly meetings with luncheons and programs of interest to all ages.Our volunteers also run The Judaica Shop in the Synagogue providing a full assortment of Judaica and gift items.
Sisterhood for Future Leadership
El Emeth’s Sisterhood is affiliated with Women’s League for Conservative Judaism and supports the training and education of our future Rabbis and Cantors at the Jewish Theological Seminary.
Membership is open to any woman subscribing to our objectives and goals.
